How to Start a Memorial Fund
Simple steps. Lasting impact.
Creating a memorial fund in your loved one’s name is a beautiful way to honor their memory and inspire change. We handle the setup so you can focus on sharing their story.
Step-by-Step Process
Step 1 – Share Your Loved One’s Story
Fill out a short, secure form with:
Your loved one’s name
A photo
A short tribute (2–3 sentences)
Your preferred funding goal
You can also choose whether the fund supports:
A Safe Driving Week at a school
Fund a grant in their name
Or both
Step 2 – We Create Your Fundraising Page
We’ll set up a personalized, tax-deductible donation page in your loved one’s name.
It will include their photo, tribute, and your funding goal.
Friends and family can donate online using credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, or check.
See sample HERE.
Step 3 – Share with Friends & Family
We’ll send you:
A direct link to your page
Suggested social media posts and email text you can use to invite donations
A printable flyer you can share at gatherings or events
Share as much or as little as you want — every gift, big or small, brings you closer to your goal.
Step 4 – See the Impact
As donations come in, we’ll keep you updated.
Once your goal is reached:
You’ll receive photos, stories, and a thank-you report showing exactly what was funded.
If your fund supports a Safe Driving Week, you’ll see the pledges signed in your loved one’s honor.
If your fund supports a grant, you’ll meet the recipient and hear their story.
