Tyler Vartabedian
Tyler recently finished his B.S. in May of 2019 and is currently enrolled in the 4+1 program at Syracuse to finish his M.S. in May of 2020. Tyler has been working under Dr. Glauser for the past 3 years on both the UAS and Jet Noise Projects. Aside from his research, Tyler focused on Entrepreneurship during his undergrad with his minor: Information Technology Design and Startups. He has pursued three different startup projects and competed in virtually every startup and business plan competition on the Syracuse University campus. In 2019, Tyler competed at the New York State Business Plan Competition in Albany, NY with his project related to drone noise dampening. Tyler also found heavy interests in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) and strucural engineering during his undergraduate coursework. Outside of school, Tyler enjoys 3D printing, playing chess, cryptocurrencies, and playing intramural broomball. He is currently pursuing fulltime employment related to test engineering, structural engineering, and/or UAS systems.
