Mental Health Support for Children

Julonna Peterson is passionate about supporting special needs students and providing teachers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with the resources they need to create inclusive learning environments. Her company The PERFECT Project aims to “create a safe haven for the overlooked majority” by creating specially tailored kits, workbooks, and resources for children, parents, and teachers. “I was employed as a teacher’s aide for a client who has ADHD and Autism, and through this experience, I was able to understand deeply the intelligence, unique-ness and immense learning potential of children with such diagnosis.” The money from Hunter’s Fund will help purchase materials for the workbooks and shipping sup- plies so they can be distributed around the country
