Commercial Flight School

Rishi Ramsamooj - Growing up on the small Caribbean island of St. Vincent, Rishi didn’t have had the same opportunities to follow his dreams of becoming a pilot that someone from a larger, more affluent place might have enjoyed. That initial lack of resources, how-ever, was not an obstacle that Rishi was willing to let limit his dreams. After graduating from St. Vincent & The Grenadines Community College with majors in math, physics and computer science, he made the move to Florida where he is now enrolled at the Epic Flight Academy and is well on his way to earning his private pilot’s license. He sees this as the first step toward his final goal of being a commercial pilot. He will be using his grant to continue his flying education toward his commercial license. His goal is to be able to return to St. Vincent, which has recently build a new airport, and to fly for one of the air-lines that have been expanding their services and need for pilots there.
