Music has been part of Jackson’s life since learning to play the violin at age three. When the Seattle native was a sophomore at New York University and found himself unable to afford the fees of a New York City recording studio he applied for a Hunter Grant to expand his apartment studio. Three years later Jackson received a recording contract for Epic Records , the label of Maria Carey. Now touring under the stage name of “Rence”, you might see him performing live near you.
