Tunes to Get You Out of Your Bedroom
Although your next vacation might have been put on hold, these new tracks by one of our grant recipients, Harry Collis, might take you to your next destination in the comfort of your home. The track “Hamaneciendo en Cuba” produced by Edito Musa Repartera, was “inspired by long nights in Havana’s balmy streets...moonlit rooftops and endless dancing,” according to Louismax on Soundcloud. Based in the UK, Harry was awarded Hunter’s Grant in Fall 2019 to fund his music project along with his friend Louis. With the grant awarded, Harry was able to create a portable outdoor studio by converting a long wheelbase van for their performances. In addition, Harry also hopes to provide opportunities for other musicians to perform in the portable studio.
